SELMI first received its operational license issued by the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia in 2015, with No. HKI.2-OT.03.01-04, and currently has more than 160 members.

• Extension of SELMI’s Operational License in 2019, with number HKI.2-KI.01.08-04.
• Extension of SELMI’s Operational License in 2020, with number HKI-06.KI.01.08.
• Extension of SELMI’s Operational License in 2023, with number HKI-09.KI.01.04.

Thus, SELMI as a Collective Management Organization has met the requirements to collect, gather, and distribute Remuneration in accordance with Articles 87, 88, and 89 of Law Number 28 of 2014 on Copyright, making it eligible to be part of the Daily Implementing Agency of LMKN.
